EZ-FLOW Airway Flow Sensor

EZ-FLOW Airway Flow Sensors

The EZ-Flow flow sensor was designed to take the cost out of respiratory mechanics monitoring without compromising performance.  The sensor is classified as a fixed orifice, differential pressure device. It is unique in that it exhibits a differential pressure / flow curve which is much more linear than other fixed orifice sensors. This is important in many aspects such as maximizing low flow resolution and minimizing overall added airway resistance.

EZ-Flow is available for patients of all ages and sizes.  Our regular EZ-Flow was designed for the flow/volume ranges of adult and pediatric patients.  Our newest EZ-Flow can handle the most demanding neonate patients, with reliable volume measurements down to 10cc!  We offer our standard tri-tubing for use with the METEOR Respiratory Mechanics Monitor, or our larger inner diameter tri-tubing for long term / high humidity environments.

Adult EZ-FLOW SENSOR SPECIFICATIONS

  • Connections: 15 mm ID/22 mm OD patient end by 15 mm OD.

  • Tapers per ISO 5356-1

  • Dead space: <6.9 ml installed dead space

  • Sensor material: Makrolon polycarbonate
